The BI Presidential Scholarship is a prestigious program offered by BI Norwegian Business School. This scholarship is designed to attract outstanding students from around the world to pursue Master of Science programs in a variety of disciplines. Open to both Norwegian and international applicants, the scholarship rewards academic excellence and potential for leadership.
Scholarship Coverage
- Full Tuition Fees: The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the entire duration of the Master of Science program (up to two years).
- Living Expenses Stipend: International recipients are eligible to receive a stipend of NOK 50,000 per semester to help with living expenses. However, this is subject to maintaining academic progression requirements.

- Academic Excellence: Applicants should have an overall GPA of ‘A’ on the ECTS grading scale or equivalent from their previous studies.
- Program Admission: Candidates must secure admission to the first year of a Master of Science program at BI Norwegian Business School (Oslo or Bergen campuses).
- Siviløkonom Students: Current students in the third year of BI’s Siviløkonom program are also eligible to apply.
How To Apply
Interested and qualified applicants are required to start their admission process by applying for admission to a Master of Science program at BI Norwegian Business School through the online application portal.
Secondly, they should submit a one-page scholarship application letter outlining why you deserve the scholarship. Highlight your academic achievements, leadership potential, and how you plan to contribute to BI’s community.

Thirdly, they must include supporting documents such as CV, academic transcripts, and other necessary documents along with your scholarship application before deadline.
Additionally, scholarship recipients are required to:
- Maintain full-time study progression by completing 30 ECTS credits each semester.
- Achieve a cumulative GPA of at least ‘B’ on the BI ECTS grading scale after each semester.
- Act as BI Ambassadors, participating in recruitment activities and promoting the school’s programs.
