The Karolinska Institutet Global Scholarship is a fully funded medical research scholarship offered to international students. Karolinska Institutet is a leading medical university located in Sweden, renowned for its significant contributions to medical research and education. Established in 1810, KI is dedicated to improving human health through rigorous academic programs and groundbreaking research. Notably, the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet is responsible for selecting the Nobel laureates in Physiology or Medicine.
Aim and Benefits
The KI Global Master’s Scholarship aims to attract outstanding international students from outside the EU/EEA to pursue master’s programs at Karolinska Institutet. The scholarship covers the tuition fee for the selected Global Master’s Programmes. However, it does not include travel expenses, living costs, or other personal expenses, which recipients must fund independently.
Requirements
To be eligible for the KI Global Master’s Scholarship, applicants must:
Have applied to one of Karolinska Institutet’s Global Master’s Programmes starting in 2025.
Be a tuition fee-paying student from a country outside the EU/EEA.

How To Apply
Apply for a Master’s Program: Submit an application to one of Karolinska Institutet’s Global Master’s Programmes by 15 January 2025.
Pay Application Fee: Ensure the application fee is paid by 3 February 2025.

Scholarship Application: Apply for the KI Global Master’s Scholarship online between 10 and 26 February 2025. An application link will be available on the official scholarship page during this period.
