The Mälardalen University Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship opportunity in Sweden that offers a limited number of scholarships annually to international students from countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. These scholarships are designed for students applying for a Master’s programme at MDU as their first choice. 
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Mälardalen University Scholarship Programme, applicants must:
- Apply for a Master’s programme at MDU as their first choice.
- Be citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland and required to pay tuition fees.
- Have paid the application fee on time.

Note: Students from the following countries are not eligible for this scholarship and should instead apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. 
Requirements
Applicants must:
Fulfill the entry requirements for the Master’s programme they apply to.
Demonstrate academic excellence.
Ensure all supporting documents are submitted by the specified deadlines.
How To Apply
Apply for a Master’s Programme: Submit an application for a Master’s programme at MDU via universityadmissions.se by 15 January 2025.
Submit Scholarship Application: Complete the scholarship application form and submit it along with other required documents to University Admissions Sweden by 3 February 2025.

Notification: Successful applicants will be notified via email between 28-31 March 2025. MDU will use the email address registered on University Admissions.
