Master’s program applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree, and they should be under 30 years of age before 1 September 2025.

Ph.D. applicants must have a master’s degree and be under 35 years of age before 1 September 2025.
All applicants must be in good physical and mental health, free from infectious diseases that may hinder regular studies.
Applicants should demonstrate strong academic performance, with an average score of at least 75% from their previous academic records.
NPU also accepts global standard tests such as SAT, ACT, A-Level, AP, IB, IGCSE, WAEC, GED, GRE, and GMAT.

Recipients of the NPU President Scholarship will gain access to high-quality education across various disciplines, including fundamental science, engineering, humanities, and social sciences.
The scholarship offers three levels of financial coverage. The fully funded level includes:
- Full exemption from tuition fees
- Full accommodation fee waiver
- Monthly living allowances of 1500 RMB for undergraduate students, 2000 RMB for master’s students, and 3500 RMB for Ph.D. candidates, all for 12 months.
