The Örebro University Scholarship in Sweden is offered by Örebro University. It is designed for outstanding academic students from countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland. This scholarship aims to support international students who are required to pay tuition fees for master’s studies commencing after June 2011. The scholarship covers full or partial tuition fees but does not include living expenses, which applicants must finance independently.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Örebro University Scholarship, applicants must:
Have applied for a master’s programme through universityadmissions.se with Örebro University as their first priority.
Be citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland and be required to pay tuition fees for studies.
Have paid the application fee by February 3, 2025.
Not be recipients of a Swedish Institute Scholarship. 
Requirements
Applicants need to provide the following supporting documents:
- Personal motivation letter (maximum 1 page).
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) (maximum 2 pages).
- Documentation of all previous higher education studies, including completed degrees and transcripts with courses and grades (Academic Transcript of Records).
All documents must be merged into a single PDF file, with a maximum size of 4 MB. 
How To Apply
Application Period: The application form for the Örebro University Scholarship Programme will be sent out on February 5, 2025, to all students who have Örebro University as their first priority and have paid the application fee by February 3, 2025.
Submission: Complete the application form and submit all required information and documents before the deadline on February 19, 2025.

Review and Selection: Applications will be reviewed after the deadline, with decisions made by the end of April 2025. Awarded students will be contacted via email, and results will also be published on the university’s website. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.
