We came at 5 p.m. for the 6 p.m. performance. As we approach the entrance, we notice the numerous signs warning that weapons are not permitted. We are legal concealed carriers who felt very uneasy leaving our guns in the car to enter a gun-free zone. They also search your baggage at the doorway (which I had no problem with). Sorry, but I believe that posting NO GUNS/WEAPONS ALLOWED signs everywhere is asking for trouble. If folks haven’t realized it, gun-free zones are dangerous places. They are easy prey for psychotic individuals.
This is the only reason we will never return. My two daughters, aged nine and six, thoroughly enjoyed the presentation. I believe the production and the food are more geared toward children than anything else. My children were given “makeovers” in the waiting area, which cost us $40. We had to wait approximately 40 minutes after my first child had her makeover (face painted like a dog with a q-tip) since my other child was skipped and three other kids were taken ahead of her. One person was operating the area, and she was highly inundated with customers. So she starts calling people while all the kids, including my two, are waiting for their “makeovers.” They finally summoned another girl to assist, and she began at the opposite end of the row, forcing us to sit and wait even though we had arrived first.
