The UK Commonwealth Split Site Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship designed to help outstanding international students from Commonwealth countries undertake graduate research in United Kingdom.
The UK Commonwealth Split Site Scholarship covers full tuition, travel and accommodation costs as well as visa and monthly stipends for selected candidates. Additionally, the scholarship is strictly open to only international students from Commonwealth countries who have completed a master’s degree in a relevant field and pursuing a Master’s degree graduate research program.

Additionally, students that are qualified to apply for the UK Commonwealth Split Site Scholarship are PhD students from low-income Commonwealth countries or PhD students registered for a PhD program in a university of Commonwealth member country who are already admitted to undertake PhD studies in such University that are ready to travel to UK by September 2025 for the UK Commonwealth Split Site Scholarship with a proven financial record of being unable to afford to study in a university in the United Kingdom.

Interested and qualified applicants must:
1. List all undergraduate and postgraduate university qualifications obtained.
2. List up to 10 publications and prizes.

3. Provide details of employment history and explain how the experience gained supports and is relevant to the programme to be undertaken in the UK.
4. List names and positions of three referees who are qualified to comment on both their capacity to benefit from the proposed scholarship in the UK and their ability to deliver development impact afterwards. One of the referees must be a current employer (if applicable) and at least two references must be included with the application.
5. Provide a Development Impact statement in four parts.

Also, interested applicants are expected to check eligibility, research host universities, prepare research proposal, contact national nominating agency, complete online application, submit recommendation letters and academic transcripts and finally submit your application after previewing your application. Once your application is submitted, you are expected to prepare for interview if applicable and wait for shortlisting of successful applicants.
