The University Of Ottawa Undergraduate Scholarship is an outstanding scholarship awards offered to international students from developing countries of the world such as students from Africa, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, South Korea, India or Bangladesh to aid their academic voyage of discovery at the Ottawa University. The scholarship is renewable and its cumulative benefits amount is pegged at One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) only as well as other benefits that the scholarship offers her beneficiaries.
This renewable scholarship is offered to international students who are citizens of African countries, who are admitted in the Fall 2024 term (September start date) or later with an admission average of 80% or higher, who are studying in English, and who enroll in one of the specified undergraduate programs in the faculties of Engineering, Science, or Social Sciences.

This significant financial contribution to their education reduces their tuition fees by $17,500 to $25,000 for the excellence scholarships and by $12,000 to $20,000 for the entrance scholarships, depending on the program annually.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these scholarships, international students must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a citizen of any country in Africa or one of the countries listed.
2. Be newly admitted in the fall 2024 term or after, in one of the eligible undergraduate programs offered in English in one of the faculties listed.

3. Not enrol in the French immersion stream.
4. Have a valid study permit when classes start.
5. Be enrolled full time.
